Sami Ben Gharbia

Tunisian campaigner, blogger, writer and freedom of expression advocate. I was a political refugee living in the Netherlands between 1998 and 2011. I’m the author of the first Tunisian e-book (in French) Borj Erroumi XL. Founding Director of the Advocacy arm of Global Voices and the co-founder of the award-winning collective blog Nawaat. I also co-founded The Arab Techies Collective and co-Organizer of The Arab Bloggers Conferences.
