Vincent Geisser

sociologue et politologue français, chercheur à l’Institut de recherches et d’études sur le monde arabe et musulman (IREMAM/CNRS), enseignant à l’Institut d'études politiques d'Aix-en-Provence , est l'auteur de plusieurs essais. Il a notamment définit la notion d'islamophobie comme une forme de racisme s'exprimant par des actes d’intolérance et de violence à l'égard des musulmans, notamment dans ses racines coloniales et les critères du malaise chez les autres membres des secteurs fragilisés de la société. Il est aussi un conférencier et intervient parfois sur les plateaux télévisés. Il est également directeur de la publication de la revue "Migrations sociétés", éditée par le CIEMI
