Television in Tunisia: These women, enemies of women

Their names are Baya Zardi, Hanène Elleuch, Najla Ettounssia, Rania Toumi… What they share in common: a certain representation of beauty and knack for creating a buzz. And indeed, they devote themselves body and soul to this end—even when it sets them against other women.

Journée de la Femme : La charge du parti Ennahdha contre la CEDAW

Le 8 mars, il y a quatre jours à peine était célébrée la journée internationale de la femme. Le lendemain le ministre des Affaires Religieuses, présent dans un débat, a estimé que la CEDAW est un texte  « inadapté aux principes de souveraineté de l’Etat, à son identité, à sa constitution et à ses textes législatifs. »
