Tunisia: Weekly Political Review. Cabinet Reshuffle Fails to Materialise

The week promised to shake up considerably the political landscape in Tunisia. Contrary to the expectations of most observers, the long awaited cabinet reshuffle announcement was delayed due to the lack of consensus among the leading troika as announced Prime Minister Hamadi Jebali on Saturday. The new-born troika of the opposition (Nidaa Tounes, Republican Party al Massar) went almost unnoticed since the Popular Front (a unified political alliance of left-wing parties) seems to be still reluctant to join the new political and electoral front.

الغنوشي و بن جعفر و مسلسل التحوير الوزاري

التقى اليوم السيد مصطفى بن جعفر رئيس المجلس الوطني التاسيسي في مكتبه بمقر المجلس بالشيخ راشد الغنوشي رئيس حركة النهضة . و قد تباحث الطرفان في موضوع التحوير الوزاري المرتقب قصد وضع اللمسات الاخيرة . و لئن رفض الغنوشي الاجابة على الاسئلة المطروحة من طرف الصحفيين بعد التنسيق مع الملحق الصحفي لرئاسة المجلس على ان يتم الاكتفاء بتصريح وحيد دون اسئلة للصحفيين الموجودين فان عامر العريض من جهته قبل الاجابة على اسئلتنا الا ان اجاباته كانت مقتضبة و لا تغني و لا تسمن من جوع .

La polit-Revue : Le remaniement ne sera pas télévisé

La semaine du 20 au 27 janvier promettait beaucoup en termes de reconfiguration des diverses forces politiques en Tunisie. Au final, des bémols sont systématiquement venus décevoir les attentes des observateurs : le front politico-électoral al Joumhouri – Nidaa Tounes – al Massar est quasiment un non évènement en l’absence d’al Jabha, toujours réticente.

Les conditions d’Ettakatol pour rester dans la Troïka

Le parti Ettakatol vient d’entamer depuis 18h30 une réunion d’urgence de son bureau politique. Il a menacé ce matin, par le biais de son porte parole Mohamed Bennour, de se retirer de la coalition au pouvoir. Selon Samy Razgallah, membre du BP, certaines conditions doivent être prises en compte par leur partenaire Ennahdha, sinon, son parti se retirera de la Troïka.
